Barbra Streisand
This performer is based in Texas, but travels extensively
Although Cindy is a Texas native, she speaks with a New York Jewish accent, while performing on stage as Barbra Streisand. Singing since the age of two and becoming enamoured of Babs' voice by age nine, she has traveled the world walking, talking, and most notably singing like the Diva herself. She has performed from crowded cabarets in Dallas, Texas to sold out theatres in Berlin, Germany. Because of the uncanny likeness to Streisands' own singing voice, Cindy has been approached by countless audience members mistakenly complimenting her on her "remarkable lip-syncing." Complementing her six-octave range and amazing breath control, are tailor-made copies of Barbras' concert attire. From the winter-white suit and Donna Karan black gown, worn at The Concert, to the black velvet empire with white silk charmeusse ball gown, to the Princess dress worn to accept her Emmys, everything about this performer is authentic. Her impressive song list includes nostalgic favorites such as Don't Rain On My Parade, People, Evergreen, and You Don't Bring Me Flowers, to songs from The Broadway Album, Back To Broadway, Yentl, The Concert, and the latest CD, A Love Like Ours, including the hit duet: If you Ever Leave Me with Vince Gill. Whatever your favorite era or song of Barbra's, Cindy is sure to captivate your listening pleasure.
