He works with a nearly invisible earpiece which pipes in a pre-recorded speech (regardless of how long or complicated it may be). He uses this prompt to deliver your sales pitch, but by hitting the pause button he is able to interject any improv or other interplay with the listeners, thus keeping the message fresh and interesting.
